The American Booksellers Association announced today the booksellers who will be attending this April’s ABC Children’s Institute on scholarship. The awards, covering the conference fee, a two-night stay at the host hotel, and up to $400 in travel expenses, are funded by Baker & Taylor, the event’s lead sponsor; 21 publisher sponsors; and the Book Industry Charitable (Binc) Foundation.

“The American Booksellers Association extends sincere thanks to our Children’s Institute sponsors for their ongoing commitment to children’s bookselling,” said Senior Program Officer Joy Dallanegra-Sanger. “Due to their generosity, 31 ABA members will be able to take part in a great educational program that will offer much that booksellers can take back and implement in the their stores to encourage reading among the children in their communities.”
