ABA to Hold Second Forum in NEBA Region

The American Booksellers Association is inviting booksellers to attend a forum to be held in conjunction with the New England Booksellers Association (NEBA) in Amherst, Massachusetts, on April 22. The second ABA/NEBA forum of the season will be held at the National Yiddish Book Center on the grounds of Hampshire College, from approximately 3:15 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., at the conclusion of NEBA meetings.

This year's first ABA/NEBA forum was held at the Brookline Booksmith on March 10. (To read more about it, click here.)

ABA CEO Avin Mark Domnitz, COO Oren Teicher, and Board member Suzanne Staubach of UConn Co-op in Storrs, Connecticut, will conduct the Amherst forum, which will include a Book Sense gift card demonstration and updates on other ABA programs and initiatives including efforts to amend Section 215 of the Patriot Act, sales tax initiatives, ABA programming at this year's BookExpo America, and plans to celebrate Book Sense at five. The forum also offers booksellers an opportunity to ask questions, to express opinions, and to hear what their colleagues have to say.

All forum attendees will be entered into ABA's Book Sense at Five Contest for a chance to win hotel accommodations and admission to BookExpo America for the next five years.
