The next edition of Bookselling This Week will arrive in your inbox late on Friday, January 25, with reports and photos from the American Booksellers Association’s Winter Institute 14 in Albuquerque.

Next week’s edition will feature coverage of keynote presentations from Margaret Atwood and Erin Morgenstern, Reshma Saujani, and Hanif Abdurraqib; ABA’s Town Hall Meeting; and plenty of photos from the Welcome Reception, Author Cocktail Reception, and numerous networking events.

The issue of January 25 will be just the beginning of BTW’s Winter Institute 14 coverage, as we’ll be providing in-depth reporting on many education sessions in the weeks to follow. Bookselling This Week will return to its regular Wednesday schedule on January 30.

Booksellers who are not attending Winter Institute have the opportunity to catch the live-stream of many of the keynotes (keep an eye on BookWeb for links), and after the event, dozens of educational session videos will be posted for booksellers to take advantage of. Watch Bookselling This Week in the coming weeks for details.

Please note that throughout the institute, and in the days leading up to it and following, many members of the ABA staff will have limited access to e-mail and may be delayed in their responses.

In addition, IndieCommerce users may experience a delay in receiving a reply to non-emergency support tickets that are submitted during Winter Institute. The IndieCommerce team will be closely monitoring tickets during Winter Institute, but staff obligations to booksellers at the event may delay replies.
