This week, the American Booksellers Association welcomed Kobo’s Nicole Elliott to its offices in White Plains, New York. Kobo’s business development manager will be making herself available to participating and prospective Kobo bookstores, as well as ABA staff, in order to strengthen and streamline the Kobo program.

At Winter Institute, many booksellers had the opportunity to meet Elliott, who is looking forward to working with indie bookstores and visiting some of them while she is in the States.

“Over the last few months, I’ve met many booksellers and gotten to know the members of ABA — everyone’s indie passion is contagious!” said Elliott. “I’m excited to continue work on the Kobo ABA program and be a part of the digital reading evolution with independent booksellers.”

In an ongoing arrangement, Elliott will be in the ABA offices several days per month and will be available to member booksellers for Kobo support and questions.

Elliott will also be working closely with ABA’s Kobo team to maintain and improve on the Kobo experience for bookstore members.

Booksellers are welcome to reach out to Elliott with Kobo-related questions or concerns via e-mail or at ABA’s offices at (914) 406-7576.
