The American Booksellers Association announced this week that Greg Galloway has been hired as the association’s new marketing manager and designer. Galloway joins ABA after working for the past 16 years as the owner/operator of WebSight Marketing, Inc., which focused on Internet and print marketing for a variety of regional businesses. Galloway will work closely with ABA Membership and Marketing Officer Meg Smith in developing new materials for the Booksellers DIY and other ABA marketing vehicles. Booksellers can call on Galloway at email@example.com or (800) 637-0037, ext. 6668, for help with any of the materials in the Booksellers DIY.
Paige Poe, ABA’s current marketing manager, is leaving to form her own web development and design business effective December 2. Poe has had a key role in the development of the IndieBound marketing materials and the Bookseller DIY, including the new eye-catching poster and bookmark holiday designs.
