Affinity Program Offers Discount on ChicoBags

The American Booksellers Association offers discounts to members on a variety of products and services through its affinity partnerships with an array of vendors and service providers. One such partner is ChicoBag, the manufacturer of reusable, stylish, and eco-friendly bags that come in a variety of shapes, sizes, fabrics, and colors.

ABA member stores are eligible to receive a five percent discount and a free display on their first standard order of Chicobags, and a 10 percent discount on all custom printed ChicoBags branded with a bookstore logo.

ChicoBags range in size from shopping bags to snack bags and are available in various fabric options and colors. Customers toting a bookstore-branded ChicoBag provide excellent (and free!) advertising for independent stores.

The environmentally friendly bags are lightweight, durable, machine-washable, and easily compacted into an attached pocket-sized pouch with a carabineer for easy clipping. Made from 100 percent post-consumer recycled plastic bottles, the bags are fair labor certified and come with a manufacturer warranty.

ChicoBag, which is located in Chico, California, aims to reduce the number of single-use bags that Americans use each year. The company has helped 1.8 million people say no to more than 779 million plastic bags.
