Book Dragon storefront

The Book Dragon Shop has opened in Staunton, Virginia. A grand opening celebration will be held on Saturday, August 3.

Book & Puppet Co. will open a third location later this month, in Easton, Pennsylvania.

BookBar introduced BookBike Mike, a bicycle bookmobile that will join Mavis, a bookmobile van, in delivering books to the greater Denver community.

Left Bank Books in St. Louis, Missouri, is celebrating 50 years in business.

Bookmarks bookstore in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, is celebrating its second anniversary.

The New York Times ran a piece about Moe’s Books, calling it a landmark of Berkeley, California.

The Victoria Advocate included Texian Books and BookPeople in an article on how indie bookstores “maintain ‘community touch’ to thrive” in Texas.
