BookCon Virtual Read-a-Thon to Support Indie Bookstores

BookCon is holding a live, virtual read-a-thon on Saturday, April 11, which will feature more than 25 authors across all genres giving 15-minute readings and answering questions from readers across the globe.

The read-a-thon will also invite viewers to make donations to the Book Industry Charitable Foundation (Binc) to assist booksellers and bookstores affected by COVID-19.

Taking place from 12:00 p.m. ET to 8:00 p.m. ET on BookCon’s Facebook page, the read-a-thon will feature:

12:00 p.m. – 12:15 p.m.: Introduction and welcome by BookCon and Binc teams
12:15 p.m. – 12:30 p.m.: Lamar Giles
