Booksellers can access recordings of the American Booksellers Association’s Coffee Breaks on the Education Resources page on BookWeb.org. The most recent session, which focused on information for new members, is available to watch now.

The New Member Coffee Break, held on January 11, is the first in a series introducing the benefits of ABA. This session featured a tutorial on navigating BookWeb.org, and a presentation that looked at education resources, networking and community, business affinity partnerships, marketing, advocacy, and more.

Take a look at the recording of the session here.

On February 8 at 1:00 p.m. ET, the second part of this series, called “Store Ownership 101,” will take place. This session will provide new and prospective bookstore owners with an opportunity to ask questions of seasoned bookstore owners/staff. New and new-ish members are welcome.

ABA Coffee Breaks are a virtual space for member booksellers who would like to connect and talk with their colleagues from across the country. View the schedule for January 2021 Coffee Breaks here.
