BookSense.com Announces Traffic Reports

BookSense.com has begun offering detailed traffic reports on an individual store basis. This service, which was developed in response to booksellers' requests, provides data showing how many visitors come to a bookstore's site, which pages they're visiting, when they're visiting, and much more.

A sample report for BookSense.com's live test store can be viewed at www.booksense.com/reports/Len18.DOC. Because it is for the test store, the sample report numbers are very small, but it does show the kind of data available. An actual bookstore report will be sent to participants as a large e-mail attachment.

Since preparation of the reports is labor intensive, there is a fee schedule for this service. The price for an individual report is $10, or a monthly plan is available for $100 per year. Individual reports can be purchased on an as-needed basis -- bimonthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually, or at any other time.

As a preview, BookSense.com will send one free report, covering January through April of this year, to each store. To request the free report, BookSense.com stores should send an e-mail to [email protected].
