California Booksellers: Apply for a COVID-19 Relief Grant Through March 31

California booksellers are encouraged to apply for the latest round of California’s Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program.

Round 5 of the grant program opens up for new applications tomorrow, March 25, through next Wednesday, March 31. If booksellers have already applied in previous rounds of funding, there is no need to reapply as your application will automatically be considered for this round.

The grants range in size from $5,000 to $25,000, depending on the small business’ annual revenue. The program will prioritize industry sectors most impacted by the pandemic, including bookstores.

California booksellers should gather all of the necessary documentation as soon as possible to ensure you are prepared to apply when the application window opens on March 25.

Though the date is yet to be announced, there will be a Round 6 of funding soon after the current round ends.
