In this holiday edition of “The Furry Faces of Bookselling: Bookstore Pets,” BTW is highlighting bookstore pets, as well as pets of ABA staff members, getting festive for the holidays.
Henry and Francis, owned by ABA Content Director Sydney Jarrard: “Christmas with kittens Francis and Henry is very cute but it also means no ornaments on the tree this year and no presents under the tree unless they're pretty durable. Easy price to pay for the fun of welcoming two kittens to the family!”
Max, owned by Graphic + Web Designer Melissa Napolitano.
Penny, owned by ABA ABC Children’s Group Manager Gen de Botton: “When cats are involved, decorating a tree is futile so we've opted for the more organic/natural approach of living ornaments. Featuring Penny, the youngest in the de Botton/Stella household. Where she lacks in age, she makes up for it in impressions of partridges in pear trees.”
Reese, owned by ABA Design & Production Manager Linda Ford.
Murder by the Book in Houston, Texas, posted to Instagram: “Thanks to a very busy holiday season (and the well-received book subscriptions) there’s some late-night work happening at the bookstore. It’s always good to have the company of a festive, loyal pup to make the extra work more fun. Thanks to all of you for the support this year. It means more than you know!”
Gogo, owned by ABA IndieCommerce Specialist Finnigan Butterfield.
Daisy, owned by Director of ABA Technology Greg Galloway.
