Book Sense's Good Morning America book club streak continues. The popular morning show's "Read This!" book club chose its sixth title, and all six titles have been Book Sense 76 picks.

On Thursday, November 21, ABC's Good Morning America announced that Dress Codes: Of Three Girlhoods -- My Mother's, My Father's, and Mine (Picador) by Noelle Howey was the latest book chosen by the show's "Read This!" book club. Howey's book was a July/August Book Sense 76 pick. The author's memoir details her turbulent adolescence in suburban Ohio, with a tomboy mother who was finding her independence and a father who enjoyed wearing women's clothing.

In nominating the book for the 76, Karen Maeda Allman of Elliott Bay Book Company in Seattle said, "If you've wondered how girlhood has changed over the years or why an outwardly successful man could defect to the other gender, read Howey's poignant and charming story of three very different and admirable women."

GMA's "Read This!" segment features one book club recommending a book of its choice to another book club and GMA viewers. This month, the "Wine, Women, and Jeffrey" book club in Columbus, Ohio, recommended Howey's memoir to the "Jazzy Page Turners," of Knoxville, Tennessee, a group of eight women, most of them retired, who met in a jazzercise class. Both book clubs appeared on the morning show.
