ABA has announced that as of Tuesday, December 9, all rooms at the Allerton Crowne Plaza and Radisson Hotel & Suites set aside for ABA member booksellers planning to attend BookExpo America (BEA) 2004 in Chicago have been sold out.
"ABA and BEA thank all the booksellers who have signed up to take advantage of these great hotel offers," said ABA COO Oren Teicher. "We have some great things in store for you when you arrive!"
The special package offered only to ABA member booksellers included a special room rate of $115 per night and a package of benefits including a series of publisher-sponsored receptions each evening, an exclusive ABA member hospitality suite, special dedicated shuttle bus service between the hotels and the Convention Center, and publisher-supplied ARCs.
Booksellers can begin staying at the hotels at the special room rate on May 25 and extending to June 7, 2004. BEA will be held at the McCormick Place Convention Center from June 2 - 6, with ABA's full day of educational programming taking place on Thursday, June 3.
