June is Audiobook Month, which means that it’s the perfect time for indie booksellers to introduce audiobooks to their customers. Each week of Audiobook Month, digital audiobook company Libro.fm will be sharing new content on its blog and on social media to help listeners celebrate the month in true bookish style.

Week 1,: June 1-9: Customers can get their first audiobook for free when they start a Libro.fm membership. Libro.fm has handpicked some of the top audiobooks of the summer and will be sharing them during this week.

Week 2, June 10-16: Libro.fm will be posting title recommendations from expert booksellers. This week, listeners are also encouraged to share the audiobooks they are loving on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram using the hashtag #Librofmlisten. Libro.fm may even share those suggestions on the company’s social media pages.

Week 3, June 17-23: This week will focus on the unique advantages audiobooks can offer. Libro.fm will also share information on their new Kids Club and YA Club during this week. The clubs are free to join and no commitment is required, and new members can enjoy fresh picks for their inaugural month, all at $10 or less; picks will be delivered each month starting June 1. Listeners can find out more about the Libro.fm Kids Club and the Libro.fm YA Club on Libro.fm’s website.

Week 4, June 24-30: This week focuses on Libro.fm’s Summer Listening Challenge, where listeners can enjoy summer activities and support their local indie bookstore at the same time. This year, Libro.fm is offering discounts for challenge finishers and giving away a free audiobook to participants who take the extra step to visit their local bookstore. As a bonus, everyone who submits a form will also be entered to win a grand prize.

To mark Libro.fm’s celebration of Audiobook Month, artist and author Jane Mount has created custom artwork including printable downloads; the image is available on Libro.fm’s blog. Listeners can follow Libro.fm and join the conversation online on the company’s InstagramTwitter, and Facebook pages.
