Mark Your Calendars: The 2017 Indie Next List Nomination Schedule

To ensure that staff favorites are nominated for next year’s Indie Next Lists, all ABA member stores are encouraged to download the list of 2017 nomination deadlines and post it in their backrooms or wherever reading copies and ARCs are kept. All owners and bookstore employees are invited to nominate the titles they will be enthusiastically handselling in the coming months.

Indie Next List nominations can be submitted via BookWeb’s convenient online nomination form, by e-mail to [email protected], or by clicking the appropriate box when submitting a review to either Edelweiss or NetGalley.

Booksellers who are not receiving regular e-mail reminders about Indie Next deadlines should send an e-mail with the words “Deadline Reminders” in the subject line to ABA Project Manager Pete Reynolds. A shelf-talker with upcoming deadlines is also available for download.

The next deadline is January 3 for the March 2017 Indie Next List.
