Booksellers who have created displays in celebration of Children’s Book Week should send pictures of displays, along with a photo credit, to ABC Children’s Group Manager Matthew Zoni by May 6 for a chance to win a visit from one of this year’s winners or finalists for the Children’s and Teen Choice Book Awards.

To qualify for consideration, displays must highlight this year’s Children’s Book Week theme — celebrating children’s books and reading — and be mounted within stores or in windows from April 30 to May 8. Displays will be judged on their uniqueness and creativity, their use of space, and their eye-catching appeal. Bonus points will be awarded to bookstores incorporating the 2016 Children’s Book Week poster.

The display contest winner will also be featured in the Children’s Book Council’s Update newsletter, in Bookselling This Week, in social media posts, and on bookweekonline.com.

The Children’s Book Week display contest is sponsored by the Children’s Book Council (CBC) and Every Child a Reader in partnership with the ABC Children’s Group at ABA.
