On Tuesday, the American Booksellers Foundation for Free Expression (ABFFE) and the Ingram Content Group provided ordering details for Banned Books Week in a Box, a promotion that makes it as simple as possible for booksellers to celebrate Banned Books Week, this September 22 – 28.

Booksellers can access title list information from a banner on Ingram’s ipage® homepage to order from a list of 200 banned or challenged titles. Minimum orders of 20 or more books per store entitle purchasers to an additional three percent discount on initial and subsequent orders. For the first 150 qualifying orders, Ingram will also deliver a promotional kit on behalf of ABFFE, which provides everything booksellers need to assemble a Banned Books Week display, including 200 bookmarks, 30 buttons, 10 “I Read Banned Books” lapel stickers, 10 bumper stickers, 30 feet of “caution” tape, and one of ABFFE’s popular Freadom T-shirts. An Ingram flier describing the promotion is available here.

For more information or to place an order, contact an Ingram sales rep or Ingram Customer Care at (800) 937-8000 or via e-mail. Questions about Banned Books Week, this promotion, or other free expression issues can be sent to ABFFE via e-mail.
