Based on input from booksellers on the American Booksellers Association’s Marketing Task Force, the logo and other materials for this year’s Thanks for Shopping Indie promotion have been totally redesigned.
The new graphics, which include the new logo, web banners, and a letter-size poster, were changed to better complement already existing visuals for Small Business Saturday and the grassroots Indies First movement. All three promotions kick off on November 30, the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
Booksellers can download the new Thanks for Shopping Indie logo in a variety of sizes and formats as well as files featuring Indies First and Small Business Saturday graphics. For stores featuring price promotions, some of the new DIY materials include reference to specials beginning on November 30, Small Business Saturday, and one letter-sized poster includes ample space for custom messaging.
