The PowerPoint presentation from the American Booksellers Association’s Spring Forum education session, “Exploring New Markets,” is now available via BookWeb.org.
The education session was presented at a series of 10 ABA Booksellers Forums, which began March 11 in Omaha, Nebraska, and concluded on April 29 in Boston, Massachusetts.
The forums, held in conjunction with the regional booksellers associations, were led by ABA CEO Oren Teicher, who, together with other ABA staff, met with approximately 350 member booksellers to share ideas, listen to concerns, discuss industry issues, and provide updates on various association projects.
Booksellers attending next week’s BookExpo America are invited to share their thoughts and ideas for future educational programming with ABA Education Manager Lisa Winn, who will be in the ABA Member Lounge (Room 214 at the front of the 200-aisle on the trade show floor). Appointments can be set up by e-mailing Winn, or booksellers can just drop by to talk. Members who are not attending the trade show are encouraged to e-mail their ideas for programming at Winter Institute and other ABA educational events to Winn.
