Booksellers, event coordinators, and others can easily remind visiting and featured authors to link from their sites to an indie bookstore. The IndieBound Booksellers Resource page on BookWeb.org features a letter to authors that bookstores can download and add to their event-booking package.

There’s also a new letter to indie friends that invites other independent businesses to join IndieBound’s 2,000-plus affiliates in keeping tax dollars in the community and helping the environment, while earning valuable affiliate commissions for every referral resulting in a sale.

Both letters refer interested parties to the IndieBound.org Affiliate page to sign up, or to contact ABA’s Member Relationship Managers for further information.

The newly improved IndieBound Affiliate Program features real-time reporting that tracks all clicks on an affiliate link for the past 30 days, commissions earned since the last affiliate payment, as well as all previous statements. The program also features new, smaller icons to blend in seamlessly with any website.
