Booksellers will have the opportunity to meet with a number of American Booksellers Association staff members, as well as representatives of affinity businesses and members of industry organizations, in the ABA Member Lounge at BookExpo, Booth 2962 on the trade show floor in the UnBound section.
The ABA staff members who will have tables set up in the lounge will include Dave Grogan and Maria Peroni of ABA’s Advocacy/American Booksellers for Free Expression (ABFE) team, to be joined by David Horowitz of Media Coalition; Lisa Winn and Stephany Choi of ABA’s education department; Gen de Botton of the ABC Children’s Group at ABA; Daniel O’Brien, Liz Roberts, and Kate Brennan of ABA’s membership team; ABA CFO Robyn DesHotel; and representatives of ABA’s IndieCommerce team: Geetha Nathan, Ryan Quinn, Chanthee Keokhaw, Scott Nafz, and Phil Davies.

The ABA Member Lounge and Galley Room will be open on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (closed from 2:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. for ABA’s Town Hall and Annual Meeting); and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The BookExpo trade show will take place from May 29–31 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City.
Several bookseller discussion groups, to be led by ABA Board of Directors members, and a series of roundtable discussions on various POS systems are also scheduled to take place in the ABA Lounge during BookExpo.
