Won’t You Join Your Neighbors for Movie Night at Children’s Institute?

In honor of Pittsburgh’s most famous advocate for children, booksellers attending the seventh ABC Children’s Institute (Ci7) this month will be treated to a private screening of the recent Fred Rogers documentary.

The screening will be held in the Oakmont Ballroom at the Ci7 host hotel and will take place immediately following the closing keynote with Alyssa Milano on Friday, June 28. 

Popcorn will be served, and attendees are encouraged to pack their Mr. Rogers sartorial finest (a favorite cardigan and sneakers) for a group photo to celebrate the close of Ci7.

The 2019 Children’s Institute will take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh-Green Tree in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania — Mr. Rogers’ actual neighborhood — from June 26-28, 2019. See the entire Ci7 program here.
