In light of the Yom Kippur holiday, registration for Winter Institute 14, which was previously scheduled for Wednesday, September 19, will move to Monday, September 17. Registration will begin at 1:00 p.m. EDT; registrations received before that time will not be honored.

On Wednesday, September 12, the American Booksellers Association will announce the complete program for the 14th annual event, to take place January 22–25, 2019, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Booksellers are encouraged to review the schedule when beginning to book travel. On top of three days of education sessions and keynote speakers, there is a full day of programming slated for Tuesday, January 22, ahead of the opening reception, that booksellers may wish to arrive early for.

In addition, ABA is looking into organizing a post-Wi14 ski trip on Saturday, January 26; booksellers who are interested in attending should e-mail ABA CFO Robyn DesHotel [6].

Wi14 scholarship winners will be announced before registration opens. Scholarships are provided with the support of sponsoring publishers large and small. There are a limited number of sponsorship opportunities remaining; interested publishers should contact ABA Director of Development and Publisher Relations Matthew Zoni [7].

Watch for Winter Institute 14 registration to open on Monday, September 17, at 1:00 p.m. Questions about Wi14 can be sent to [email protected] [8].
