The Indie Next List Holiday Gift Guide flier, which will land in stores in the November Red Box, closes for bookseller submissions [7] on Sunday, September 30. Booksellers should act now to submit their favorite adult and children’s gift books of 2018 across a range of categories, including photography/art, cooking, visual travel, novelty, stocking stuffers, and more.

The 2017 double-sided, full-color flier featured books in the categories of art and photography, entertainment, science and nature, and cooking; each title included a cover image plus a quote from a nominating bookseller. Examples of titles that appeared on last year’s list are:

• Annie Leibovitz: Portraits 2005–2016 by Annie Leibovitz (Phaidon Press)
• Rocket Science for Babies by Chris Ferrie (Sourcebooks Jabberwocky)
• F*ck, That’s Delicious: An Annotated Guide to Eating Well by Action Bronson (Harry N. Abrams)

Booksellers can use the usual methods to nominate a title for the 2018 gift guide: Edelweiss, NetGalley, and the Indie Next List nomination form [7]. Publishers can also collect and forward bookseller nominations.
