On Saturday, January 26, Winter Institute attendees are invited to join their colleagues for a post-institute ski trip [7] at Ski Santa Fe [8] resort in Santa Fe, New Mexico, a 90-minute drive from Albuquerque. The trip is open to all Winter Institute attendees, including ABA member booksellers and their families as well as publishers.

The deadline to sign up is Friday, November 30.

The cost for the ski trip is $100, which includes one lift ticket, round-trip transportation from institute hotels, and snacks. Ski/snowboard rentals can be purchased for an additional $32, and lessons are also available separately. Attendees will be on their own for meals.

Registrants will depart from Albuquerque at approximately 7:00 a.m. and return to Albuquerque by 6:30 p.m., allowing for a full day of skiing for all levels, hiking, and/or lounging in the bar and listening to music.

The American Booksellers Association’s 14th annual Winter Institute [9] (Wi14) will be held January 22–25, 2019, at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
