Visit ABA’s Advocacy Division in the Wi16 Expo [4]

The American Booksellers Association’s Dave Grogan and Molly Bond, the team behind ABA’s advocacy efforts and the American Booksellers for Free Expression (ABFE), will be on hand at the 16th annual Winter Institute [6] to talk with booksellers.

Stop by the Expo booth on Friday, February 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. ET and 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. ET, and on Saturday, February 20, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. ET and 5:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., for all of your advocacy-related needs and concerns.

Booksellers are invited to speak with the advocacy team about any legislative or policy issues that impact their store, negatively or positively, including:

  • COVID-19 relief
  • Minimum wage
  • Access to capital
  • Antitrust issues
  • Health insurance and association health plans
  • Free speech and First Amendment issues
