The Deadline for 2023 Health Coverage is Almost Here [3]

With nearly a month left in the 2023 Open Enrollment Period, booksellers should be sure that they have the right coverage for themselves, their family, and/or their employees as the deadline draws near. Importantly, booksellers who require a January 1, 2023, start date for their health coverage, should note the deadline for enrollment is December 15, 2022. While booksellers can still enroll after December 15, it is important to remember that this will be a February 1 start date (all plans must be finalized by January 15, 2023).

As a member of American Booksellers Association, our partner at LIG Solutions [4] is here to assist booksellers in finding a plan that fits their specific needs, whether it’s an individual, a family or family member needing help, or whether a bookseller needs coverage for their employees.

UNDER 65 Coverage for Individuals and Families*: The Open Enrollment Period for ACA plans has been extended to January 15, 2023, and booksellers should be aware of these deadlines:

  • January 15, 2023: This is the DEADLINE if booksellers need coverage to start on February 1, 2023.
