In an awards ceremony held this past weekend in Vienna, Austria, Greg Topalian, vice president and show director for BookExpo America, received Reed Exhibition's Chairman's Award for outstanding performance during the past year.

"It is a nice honor," Topalian told BTW. "For [Reed] to acknowledge the things that we do for BookExpo, in the scope of the 500 shows they do around the world, is a great thing."

Each year, Reed Exhibitions presents the Chairman's Award to one employee in each of its divisions worldwide. Topalian received the award for the North American division. He has been with Reed Exhibitions for seven years.
