Starting November 13, NPR Books [5] will publish four bestseller lists weekly, using the Indie Bestseller List feeds. The categories to appear on the site are the Hardcover Fiction, Hardcover Nonfiction, Paperback Fiction and Paperback Nonfiction lists.

"We think this list is the right one for the NPR audience," said Joe Matazzoni, who heads up the Books section on "The Indie Bestseller Lists are weighted to give smaller stores an equal voice with big ones, and bottom line, they are less liable to feature mass-market bestsellers and are more slanted toward literary fiction and thoughtful nonfiction.
