The Kobo section of BookWeb’s Design and Downloads [5] now features charts to help ABA member program participants understand the features of the new Kobo devices, whose launch terms were announced last week [6]. Charts offering specs and device comparisons are available for the Kobo Aura, the Kobo Arc 7, and the Kobo Arc 7 HD, as well as for two devices already in stores, the Kobo Aura HD and the Kobo Glo.

The charts, as well as banners, posters, and product images for the new devices, are organized by model. Stores can also create an account at DiscoverKobo.com [7] for access to training materials for all devices.  

Upcoming Sales on eBooks

Over the next couple of weeks, Kobo will be conducting two content sales that will be promoted via e-mail to their existing customer base. This means that customers of ABA program participants will see these offers.

The first sale will start on Friday, October 25, at 12:00 a.m. EST and will end on Monday, October 28, at 11:59 p.m. EST. This is limited-time-only price drop and multiple publishers are participating.

The second sale starts on Wednesday, October 30, at 12:00 a.m. EST and ends on Thursday, October 31, at 11:59 p.m. EST. The sale will be on a select group of agency and non-agency titles.  Sale details can be found in the Kobo Announcement Archive. [8]

Black Friday and Cyber Monday Marketing Materials

Web banners and posters for Kobo’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday device sales are now available to members only in the Kobo section of Designs and Downloads [9]. Marketing for the sale and price information cannot be posted until November 28.
