The design contest celebrating the 10-year anniversary of this year’s Winter Institute will continue to accept entries [5] from ABA member booksellers until next Friday, August 29. The contest is a fun way to commemorate a decade of learning, networking, friendships, and special events at the American Booksellers Association’s premier education event. Designs can be edgy, funny, colorful, literary, energetic, or whatever a bookseller thinks best represents the Winter Institute.

[6]The contest is open to all member booksellers regardless of whether they will be attending the Winter Institute.The winning design will be featured on T-shirts for volunteers and select guests. A limited number of T-shirts will also be sold at the event. Design files will be uploaded to Redbubble [7] for those interested in creating their own merchandise.

Four finalists will be chosen by ABA, and one grand prize-winning design will be chosen by the membership. Voting will take place September 2 – 30, and the winner will be announced on or around October 1. The grand prize is $150.

Winter Institute 2015 will be held at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina, from February 8 – 11. Event registration will open in mid-September.
