The American Booksellers Association is hitting refresh on the iconic red-and-white “Eat Sleep Read Local” poster currently hanging in member stores across the country. ABA Regular store members that renew their dues for 2015 will have the choice of receiving a fresh copy of the classic vertical poster design or one of two new versions — the classic styling in a horizontal design or a smaller, vertical poster with different styling — that were developed in response to booksellers’ requests.

In order to help ABA estimate production quantities for each poster, members are asked to indicate their favorite via the web form available here [6]. This is a preliminary, non-binding selection that will help ABA estimate print runs. Members will be able to change their minds when they place their orders for one of the three free designs, sometime in March 2015.

ABA’s upcoming membership year runs from February 1, 2015, through January 31, 2016. Stores can renew their dues by mail or via an online form available here [7]. Members who pay their dues on a monthly or quarterly basis are automatically renewed year to year and need not complete a renewal form. A dues renewal reminder was sent to stores earlier this week.
