10th Anniversary Winter Institute T-shirts Available Now [3]

Attendees of the American Booksellers Association’s 2015 Winter Institute [5] in Asheville, North Carolina, can show up in style this year when they wear custom-designed T-shirts featuring logos created by the winner and runners-up in ABA’s T-shirt design contest.

The winning design by Larry Law of Anderson’s Bookshop [6] in Naperville, Illinois, features landmarks and other symbols from a decade of Winter Institute host cities including Seattle, San Jose, and New Orleans. Law’s design, along with those of the contest’s three runners-up, are available for ordering now at Redbubble.com [7].

T-shirts featuring the winning design will also be available for purchase at the Winter Institute for $15. If they sell out at the event, booksellers will still be able to order any of the contest designs at Redbubble.com [7] following the Institute.

The contest’s three runners-up were Carolyn Anbar of Watchung Booksellers [8] in Montclair, New Jersey, with her “Yup, we just sit around and talk about books” logo; Chad Kuntz of Auntie’s Bookstore [9] in Spokane, Washington, with his snowflake design; and Shelly Walston of Watermark Books & Cafe [10] in Wichita, Kansas, with her purple shield logo.

Complimentary T-shirts with the winning design, which was chosen by ABA member booksellers this fall from the four finalist designs, will be given to volunteers and select guests at Wi10, which is being held at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville from February 8 – 11.
