On Tuesday, November 1, registration [6] opened for Winter Institute 12’s (Wi12) Bookstore/Publisher Tours, IndieCommerce Institute, Leadership Workshop, Advanced Learning Sessions, and Finance Seminar.

The full- and half-day Bookstore Tours [7], the IndieCommerce Institute [8], and the Leadership Workshop [9], as well as the Paz Workshop: Introduction to Retail Bookselling [10], will take place on Friday, January 27, prior to the Winter Institute’s opening reception. Each program requires a separate registration fee.

Registration has also opened for Wi12’s Bookstore Finance Seminar [11] and Advanced Education Sessions [12] — “Understanding and Fostering Your Store Culture” and “Managing Managers” — for owners and managers. There are no additional fees to attend either the seminar or the advanced education.

Space at all of Wi12’s special programs is limited, however, and certain restrictions apply; booksellers are encouraged to register [6] as soon as possible.
