Here’s what’s happening in the world of indie bookstores this week:
Texian Books [8] in Victoria, Texas, is now open [9].
Charis Books & More [10] in Atlanta, Georgia, will re-open [11] in a renovated building owned by Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia, on April 1.
Eric Kelley, owner of the Book Den [12] in Santa Barbara, California, will celebrate 40 years of ownership [13] this April.
Boswell Book Company [14] in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is celebrating its 10th anniversary [15].
The Well-Read Moose [16] in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, will mark its fifth year in business [17] in May.
Ellen Plumb’s City Bookstore [18] in Emporia, Kansas, was recognized as the Emporia State University Kansas Small Business Development Center’s Emerging Business of the Year [19].
