Changing Hands Bookstore [6] in Tempe, Arizona, celebrated its 45th anniversary [7] on March 30.

Title Wave Books [8], which opened in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1994, will celebrate its 25th anniversary on Independent Bookstore Day, April 27. Festivities will include two author events as well as an open mic.

BookBub released a list of 51 must-see bookstores across the U.S [9]., which included many ABA member stores.

Uproxx published an article called “Forget One-Click Purchasing And Visit America’s Best Indie Bookstores [10],” which featured many ABA member stores.

Monterey County Weekly featured River House Books [11] in Carmel, California, as the best bookstore in the county [12] that sells new books.

The Boston Globe [17] profiled Portland, Oregon’s Powell’s City of Books [18].

Hoodline highlighted the best bookstores in Baltimore [19], Boston [20], and Fort Greene, Brooklyn [21].

Publishers Weekly published an interview with Betty Takeuchi, former owner of San Marino Toy and Book Shoppe [22], titled “Good Old-Fashioned Bookselling: An Exit Interview with Betty Takeuchi [23].”

Hub City Bookshop [24] in Spartanburg, South Carolina, was featured in the news after it reunited a child with her stuffed animal [25].

Bennington Bookshop [26] co-owner Phil Lewis wrote a piece for the Bennington Banner [27] about buying the Vermont bookstore in 2015.
