Sign Up for the May 23 Marketing Meetup: “Hosting Community Writing Contests/Creating Original Content” [4]

On May 23, the American Booksellers Association will present “Hosting Community Writing Contests/Creating Original Content,” the second in a series of three Marketing Meetups focusing on topics related to IngramSpark [6], the print-on-demand book publishing service and e-book distribution tool.

During the Marketing Meetup on Thursday, May 23, at 11:00 a.m. EDT, booksellers will discuss how to engage with their local writing communities, create high margin titles to sell in-store, and develop bookstore-branded products.

Guest speakers for this upcoming marketing meetup will be Josh Floyd, manager of business development for IngramSpark; Nicole Magistro of The Bookworm of Edwards [7] in Edwards, Colorado; and Kimberly Daniels from The Country Bookshop [8] in Southern Pines, North Carolina.

All booksellers are invited to participate in these bookseller-led educational conversations, which are conducted through and held at 11:00 a.m. EST on two Thursdays a month. Those who would like to participate can sign up on [9].

Following the live Marketing Meetup at this year’s BookExpo [10] on Thursday, May 30, in New York City, the next regularly scheduled online Marketing Meetup will be held on June 6 and cover best practices for marketing sidelines.
