ABA Launches New Technology Meetup Series [4]

The American Booksellers Association is launching its first Technology Meetup on Tuesday, July 2, as part of ABA’s ongoing education initiative for stores. Compared to ABA’s Marketing Meetups [6] series, this series will be less marketing-focused and look at technology-related topics.

During the first-ever Technology Meetup, to take place Tuesday, July 2, attendees will hear how bookstores are using Google Analytics, what type of information they are tracking, best practices and tips, and how to set up Google Analytics “Goals.” [7]

This session’s guest speakers will be Jason Jefferies of Quail Ridge Books [8] in Raleigh, North Carolina; Justin Hennequant of Hudson Booksellers [9], which has headquarters in Georgia and New Jersey; and ABA’s Matt Supko.

Booksellers can sign up for the Google Analytics Technology Meetup here [6] by filling out the form on the right-hand side of the page and selecting “Technology” for the meetup type.
