Book Dragon storefront

The Book Dragon Shop [6] has opened in Staunton [7], Virginia. A grand opening celebration will be held on Saturday, August 3.

Book & Puppet Co. [8] will open a third location [9] later this month, in Easton, Pennsylvania.

BookBar [10] introduced BookBike Mike, a bicycle bookmobile that will join Mavis, a bookmobile van, in delivering books to the greater Denver community.

Left Bank Books [11] in St. Louis, Missouri, is celebrating 50 years in business [12].

Bookmarks [13] bookstore in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, is celebrating its second anniversary [14].

The New York Times [15] ran a piece about Moe’s Books [16], calling it a landmark of Berkeley, California.

The Victoria Advocate [17] included Texian Books [18] and BookPeople [19] in an article on how indie bookstores “maintain ‘community touch’ to thrive” in Texas.
