The 2019 ABC Best Books for Young Readers catalog, which began shipping October 7, is now available for reordering.

Members of the ABC Children’s Group at ABA [6] were automatically shipped 250 free catalogs with no imprinting. ABA stores that have opted to receive the Children’s Box mailing will automatically receive 20 free catalogs with no imprinting.

Booksellers can supplement their supplies with extra stock by placing an order via the 2019 online order form [7], while supplies last. Additional catalogs are packaged in quantities of 250 per carton. The per-carton price is $12 for members of the ABC Children’s Group and $18 for all other ABA member stores; shipping is included. The full-color, 16-page consumer circular features nearly 200 frontlist and backlist titles for children and teens, all suggested by ABA member booksellers. The catalog carries no fourth-quarter/holiday branding so booksellers can use it throughout the year. Once again this year, the inside of the back cover features a full list of the titles contained in the catalog, complete with checkboxes, for ease of ordering or wishlist-making. This year’s catalog cover features art from Babymoon, written by Hayley Barrett and illustrated by Juana Martinez-Neal (Candlewick). The cover art was chosen by the ABC Children’s Group Advisory Council [10] from publisher submissions.
