Epilogue: Books Chocolate Brews [7] in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, is hosting its soft opening on Friday, November 1 [8].

The Next Chapter [9] in Omaha, Nebraska, is now open [10].

Mind Chimes Bookshop [11] is now open in Three Lakes, Wisconsin.

Downbound Books [12] is now open in Cincinnati, Ohio [13]. The store was also featured in an article called “New Northside bookstore won’t have something for everyone, but perhaps ‘everything for someone.’ [14]

Breakwater Books [15] in Guilford, Connecticut, is under new ownership [16].

Penguin Bookshop [17] in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, is celebrating 90 years.

Left Bank Books [18] in St. Louis, Missouri, is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

Buttonwood Books & Toys [19] in Cohasset, Massachusetts, celebrated 30 years in business this month [20].

Mary and Alix Bernard, owners of Joe’s Place [21] in Greenville, South Carolina, will be putting the bookstore up for sale to focus on their retirement.

Books of Wonder [22] in New York City will be moving to a new location in the Flatiron District. The store has set up a GoFundMe [23] with more information on the move.

Jojo Goerner, owner of the Moosterious Emporium [24] in Haines, Alaska, will be closing her bookstore at the end of November; Amy Kane plans to open a new bookstore in its location [25].

Raven Book Store [26] in Lawrence, Kansas, published a zine called How to Resist Amazon & Why [27].

WORD [28] bookstores in Brooklyn and Jersey City have launched a series of short videos on Instagram called ARC Raiders! [29]

The Oklahoman [30] featured Best of Books [31] in Edmond for its events series.

Roundabout Books [32] in Bend, Oregon, held a book drive in support of NeighborImpact Head Start [33]. The store is also celebrating its third anniversary [32].

Bham Now published a list of the best bookstores in Birmingham, Alabama [34], which included Alabama Booksmith [35], Little Professor Book Center [36], and Thank You Books [37].
