This fall, the American Booksellers Association offered booksellers the opportunity to sign up to take advantage of childcare services at Winter Institute 2020.

While there was significant interest from several booksellers expressed via an online survey, not enough booksellers signed up for the service for ABA to offer it at the upcoming Winter Institute.

As booksellers continue to be supportive of the association offering childcare services at ABA events, ABA will look into childcare options for the 2020 Children’s Institute, which will take place in Tucson, Arizona, in June.

In addition, ABA is looking at the possibility of creating a fund for all booksellers to contribute to that would subsidize the cost of childcare for booksellers attending industry events.
