Avoid the Day Bookstore, Bar, & Cafe [7] opened in Rockaway Beach, New York [8], on February 1.

Busboys and Poets [9] will open a new location in Charles Village in Baltimore, Maryland [10].

The Avid Reader [11] in Davis, California, is under new ownership [12]. A celebration and reception will be held on February 21.

Mysterious Galaxy Books [13] will reopen in a new location [14] in Point Loma, San Diego.

Sassafras on Sutton [15] in Black Mountain, North Carolina, has expanded its location [16] to include a second floor.

Kepler’s Books & Magazines [17] in Menlo Park, California, is celebrating 65 years of business. This year is also a milestone year for the Kepler’s 2020 project [18].

Back of Beyond Books [19] in Moab, Utah, is celebrating 30 years.

Hannah Oliver Depp of Loyalty Bookstore [20] in Washington, D.C., shared her “D.C. Dream Day [21]” with The Washington Post.

DL Mullen of Semicolon Bookstore [22] in Chicago, Illinois, was featured in a segment on Chicago creatives on WBEZ [23].

Kazoo Books [24] in Kalamazoo, Michigan, was featured in an article called “Don’t judge this store by its cover: Kazoo Books is one of Oakwood’s quiet successes [25].”
