Audiobook Club Pick for July: The Groom Will Keep His Name by Matt Ortile

The Groom Will Keep His Name explores the various tales Ortile spun about what it means to be a Vassar Girl, an American Boy, and a Filipino immigrant in New York looking to build a home. This month Hunter, the creator behind @shelfbyshelf [5], will lead the discussion for The Groom Will Keep His Name. Get the details and schedule here [6].

Audiobooks for Organizations

Given all that is taking place in our communities, there’s been a huge increase in audiobook listening [7]. In particular, we’ve seen an increase in bulk purchases of antiracist audiobooks for organizations [8] as the digital format provide an easy solution for quickly distributing antiracist reads. And with Libro.fm [9], your bulk audiobook purchase supports the independent bookstore of your choice.

BIPOC Audiobooks

We created a collection of audiobooks by authors who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color [10], so you can explore new reads published in 2020, as well as upcoming releases.

Summer Listening: Audiobook Bingo

Now that you have your required reading for the summer, it’s time to start listening! Adults and kids alike can play Libro.fm Audiobook Bingo [11] for their chance at the grand prize: a year’s supply of audiobooks. Assets to promote the game are on the Bookseller Hub [12].

Libro.fm’s Bookseller Hub [13] is the place for all important links, tips, and assets. Visit the Bookseller Hub now. [13]
