Booksellers at all ABA member stores are encouraged to submit title recommendations for the 2017 ABC Best Books for Young Readers Catalog [6] via an online form [7] on BookWeb.org or through Edelweiss [8]. Frontlist titles published from January through October 2017 are sought to fill the catalog with books that children’s booksellers are proud to recommend to shoppers of all ages. Holiday titles will not be included so stores can the catalog year-round. The deadline for recommendations is Friday, June 30.

Titles nominated to the Kids’ Indie Next Lists or the Indies Introduce program will also be considered. As in previous years, there will be time in late summer to add last-minute title discoveries to the catalog, which will reach stores in early October.

The cover art for the 2017 ABC Best Books for Young Readers Catalog will be unveiled after BookExpo 2017. The catalog title list and order form will be available later this summer.
