ABA is proud to announce the titles selected for the Summer/Fall 2024 Indies Introduce program.

Each year, the Indies Introduce program brings booksellers together from across the US for conversation and connection centered around exciting upcoming debut adult, middle grade, and young adult titles.

Kids' Panelist Katie Pionk of McLean & Eakin Booksellers in Petoskey, MI, said, "Indies Introduce has been one of the most fun 'extras' I've gotten to do in my five years as a bookseller. It was nothing at all like how I imagined it would be, and there is lots of reading involved, but you get to meet and collaborate with some really cool booksellers, read a bunch of genres you probably wouldn't have picked up on your own, and in the end make some lucky authors very, very happy and be part of their publishing journey, which is beyond cool."

Adult Panelist Matt Aragon - Shafi of West Side Books & Curios in Denver, CO, said, "Being a part of Indies Introduce made me feel good about reading again. I used to look at ARCs and get overwhelmed and let them pile up. This group showed me that I can still enjoy reading and that I value the opinions and decisions made by my fellow book people."

Once again this year, publishers are offering specials on all titles appearing on the lists.

For stores that have taken part in past Indies Introduce promotions, there’s no need to sign up to take advantage of publishers’ Summer/Fall 2024 offers. However, stores that are new to Indies Introduce must complete the Indies Introduce sign-up form by June 3 in order to participate in the program.

This list is available as a collection on Edelweiss. And, marketing assets for the Summer/Fall 2024 list are available now on BookWeb.org

The Indies Introduce Kids' titles will be presented at Children's Institute on Tuesday, June 11. The presentation will be recorded and posted on BookWeb in the weeks after the event.

New this season: Indies Introduce bookseller and author interviews will be posted on ABA's BookED podcast! Keep an eye on BTW for more information.
