Tuesday, March 16: ABA’s weekly Coffee Break, held from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET on Zoom, gives you a chance to join a video chat with your bookselling colleagues from across the country to talk about any bookselling-related topics. Watch your email for an invite a few hours before the event.

Wednesday, March 24: Make sure you’ve registered in advance for our POS User Groups, running from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. ET, where you can connect with representatives from several POS vendors, whether you are looking to speak with your store’s vendor or talk with other vendors to learn more about their services. This is also a great opportunity to compare best practices with other stores who use the same POS system.

As vaccines continue to roll out, booksellers can look at ABA’s COVID-19 page on “Resources for Reopening” and visit the Bookseller-to-Bookseller Forum on COVID-19 to talk with fellow booksellers.

The National Book Foundation’s Literature for Justice program offers literature as a vehicle for conversations on the topic of mass incarceration. Three author events are coming up, on March 31, April 7, and April 28, including one with Rachel Kushner, author of the recent Indie Next List pick The Mars Room.
