A separate session with a dedicated demo of IndieCommerce and IndieLite websites will take place in late March. IBD Spirit WeekNew this year, we will have the week leading up to IBD as Spirit Week! Created by member booksellers, each day will be dedicated to a theme. More details to come! Promoting IBDNow is a good time to let your customers know your store is participating in IBD! Announce in your newsletter, posters, or on social media with the digital assets on Bookweb.org. If you ordered IBD bookmarks, they will arrive in your March Box Mailing. Plan The DayDetermine your displays, merchandising, food/drink, games, and events. (We’ve compiled a list of ideas on Bookweb.org to help!) Line up authors, illustrators, and other guests (local artists, community organizations, etc.). The IBD 2022 General Participation Form is still open!* By completing this form, your store is signing up to participate in Independent Bookstore Day and be included on the searchable map on IndieBound.org, to be launched mid-March. No further action is needed to register for IBD. Additional marketing materials will be made available on the IBD Website in the coming weeks. *If you purchased IBD exclusive items, you do not need to sign up here. |
