• Wednesday, September 14 at 1:00 pm ET: Winter Institute 2023 Registration and Paz Bookstore Training Workshop opens.
  • Winter Institute Registration cost is $295.
  • Paz Bookstore Training Workshop cost is $199.
• Tuesday, September 27 at 1:00 pm ET: Winter Institute 2023 Hotel Registration opens.
  • Hotel Block cost is $169 plus tax per night.
• Wednesday, September 28: Day Pass Registration opens.
  • Stores within a 50 mile radius of Seattle who are registered will be able to access a singular day pass. A separate email will be sent to eligible registered stores on criteria prior to registration opening.
  • Single Day Pass cost is $100.
• Wednesday, October 19: Winter Institute 2023 Bookstore Bus Tour Registration opens.
• Half day and full day tours will be available. There will be more info to come in BTW on the tours.
• Wednesday, October 19: International Booksellers Winter Institute Registration opens.
  • A separate email will be sent prior to registration opening.

Three (3) booksellers per store maximum
Please provide a unique email address for each registrant. You can register up to 3 booksellers per company you are registering.

Attendees’ pronouns 
Pronouns are important. Please have the correct pronouns for anyone you are registering as this information will be printed on individual name badges.

Attendees’ dietary restrictions
All Wi2023 breakfast and lunches will be vegetarian (might include eggs, honey, and dairy) as part of ABA's commitment to lessening our carbon footprint. If your diet requires a vegan selection or an animal protein selection, please indicate that on the form.

Paz Bookstore Training Workshop Registration
There will be a separate registration form for the Paz Bookstore Training Workshop. Booksellers can choose to register for both Winter Institute and the Paz Bookstore Training Workshop or just one. Registration for the Paz Bookstore Training Workshop opens on September 14 along with Winter Institute registration.

In-person attendance is limited to individuals who are fully vaccinated, including children. (This means that, unfortunately, unvaccinated children will not be permitted to accompany attendees at any events.) ABA’s partner, HealthShield, will verify vaccination status via your mobile phone. (Those whose names don't match their vaccination cards, or who do not have a mobile phone, may contact ABA's DEIA Member Relations Manager Elisa Thomas at elisa@bookweb.org to clear their vaccination.) This policy is subject to change should the CDC recommendations and/or guidelines change prior to the event. ABA's vaccination requirement is part of our commitment to making our events as safe as possible in this new COVID-19 era. We offer a virtual event following each in-person event to make programming accessible to those who can't attend.

ABA is committed to making our event as accessible as possible. We provide accessible priority seating at the front of the rooms; quiet rooms; gender neutral restrooms; ADA accessible restrooms; a lactation room; the name of local wheelchair and scooter companies; ADA accessible rooms in our hotel block; and a Rep Picks space and handouts for those with hearing, sensory, and/or processing needs.
